NO REFUND POLICY FOR CANCELLATIONS

My son and I made bookings from Polokwane to Naboomspruit for sunday 24 November 2013 on Thursday 21 November. Due to our cirmcumstances having suddenly changed we cancelled the booking 46 hours ahead of the due departure time. We were informed that we do not qualify for refund and that the booking gets placed on hold and must be used within 3 months. There would be no reason for us to take the bus again within that time and we cannot afford to loose that money.
When Translux have strikes they can cancel bookings without further ado leaving passenger stranded but if the passengers really cannot travel and there still is 2 days in which a booking could be made by other passengers, the first passengers must just bear the loss.
