Last night I returned from CPT to JHB on BA Compair. Firstly the boarding ticket clearly indicated that the gates would close at 17:30. We stood there for more than 30min as there was some delay. No explanation was given from the gate staff. Eventually we departed only at 18.25. Flight was scheduled for 18;00 Already frustrated, I realised that delays do happen. What made this unacceptable, was the fact that the cabin staff were like little kids. They were giggling, talking load with no regard to the passengers. As the flight carried on, the talking got loader. I just feel this is very unprofessional and irritating. Then on top of it all, the flight was late and I missed my meeting.
