My husband and daughter were supposed to fly from Johannesburg to Cape Town at 3pm today. When they got to the airport they were told that their flight has been delayed by two hours. Now, 30 minutes before the new departure time there's an announcement of a further 40 minute delay! We had plans for when they arrive and now we have to can those plans. What's more, all these changes to flight times are not accompanied by updates to boarding gates and times. So now they have to figure out for themselves where to board. To make matters worse, their seats have been changed, such that they are no longer seating next to each other. This is a child we are talking about, being separated from the parent she's travelling with. This is completely unacceptable. British Airways should refund a portion of the ticket price for every 30minutes' delay and all the frustration they are causing!
