British Airways Comair goes the extra mile

I flew from CPT to JHB on Sunday afternoon and somewhere between boarding and check in, I dropped my passport. When I got on the plane to look for it I couldn't find it and with the identity crisis we have in our country, I got really scared.

When I woke up on Monday morning the first thing I did was call Comair British Airways (cpt) to find out if anybody had found it. I was assisted by a gentleman called Elroy and he said he would find out for me. When I called back later, Elroy's shift had ended but I was assisted by a lady called Suzie. She checked for me and my passport was handed in to their offices. She told me she would fly it the next day to O.R Tambo (which is the airport I am closest to) and I can collect it from there. Not only that, but she kept communicating with me via email and cellphone to find out if I had collected my passport, until I did collect it.

I cannot imagine the damage that could have been done had it not been for Elroy and Suzie, but I am grateful for their assistance.
