My sister booked a return trip on Greyhound for her and her daughter and friend to attend her nephew's wedding in Kirkwood. The bus left from JHB at 5pm due to arrive (as per timetable) in Port Elizabeth at 9.30am. Well this never happened. the bus broke down and they eventually arrived in Port Elizabeth after 3pm. The wedding in Kirkwood stated at 3pm!!! kirkwood is still an hour from PE. The time she allocated for any unforseen circumstances was way surpassed. apart from been on a bus 22 hours!!! (normal travel jhb to PE = 9 hours!!! This was a special occassion and because GREYHOUND has unreliable busses this special event was missed. WHAT A DISGRACE!!! they should have their buses removed as they cannot be trusted to provided customer service or reliability.
They should refund her and apologise for her now missing this VERY SPECIAL FAMILY EVENT..
