Check in online a real nightmare

The kulula/BA partnership is not transparent to the user. So I tried to check in on the kulula site, as that was the airline ticket I had. They told me they cannot do it without flash player [hello! how many iPads out there?? ]. Then just an error message to say they need more info and I can only check in at the airport. So I called. They said its a BA co-seat flight and I should go to the BA website. So why not tell me via the error message?

The BA site is not intuitive and a nightmare to navigate. But eventually I got the the part that gave me the option to change my seat - the site would not respond. Why bother to have a site if it does not respond? Without me proceeding with the check in, it completed the process and when i tried to change my seat I was told I am already seated. I had to call. So I tried to find a number. Usually a nice rul of thumb would be to have a 24/7 call centre number within 3 clicks - not with BA. No... they hide the number very well. Eventually got it and could change my seat manually.

Hope their pilots are better!
