Delay... how long!

We treated my inlaws for a trip up to Joburg to spend their 40th wedding anniversary with us for the weekend. Sunday 1st was their anniversary... Needless to say they had a very long anniversary... we received an SMS to say the flight was delayed they were supposed to fly at 20.10pm hence we dropped them off around 19.00 so as that they could relax and check in without worrying. At 20.30 we received a message from them to say they all had to recheck in as there was a problem with the plane, this happens we understand, but they were then told 12.15 then later 1am, which is the time they eventually left... what upset me is that my father in law is 70 in February, they were not offered anything to assist in easing this delay, this is a long time for a pensioner to be sat at an airport and I feel it was a bad call on kulula's part - very bad customer service.
