Yesterday I flew with Mango Airlines from Johannesburg to Durban. Once I reached home, I went to unpack my bag only to find that my lock had been cut, opened the bag and saw that my GPS device was and other item boxes were torn up.
I called Mango Airlines Durban immediately and was told that they cannot do anything about it as I never took out insurance with them.
Surely the cost of insurance should be included in your flight price?
Not only am I upset that they made no attempt to reimburse me, they never even bother trying to apprehend the staff members involved in my belongings!
Needless to say, I will never fly with Mango Airlines again as I just would not feel safe handing my bags to them.
