I own a small Guesthouse and work very hard to make it one of the best in the city. My ranking on Tripadvisor was and is very good. Mr. Moeketsi Peane contact me to sell me a business listing. I said that I am not interested at that time. My ranking on the Tripadvisor site suddenly plunged! I think that was a deliberate attempt to make me buy a business listing. Mr. Moeketsi phoned me again and I agreed to now take a business listing. I said that if I take a business listing, I will save a lot not having to pay commission to [URL Removed] and Safarinow as the links to them from my profile will not be active anymore. I will now get bookings directly and do not need to pay the commissions to these sites. Now I have the business listing and the links to [URL Removed] and Safarinow is still on my Tripadvisor profile. So now I pay Tripadvisor for a business listing and also I am still paying commissions on all the bookings I get! Mr. Moeketsi does not get back to me on how to resolve this issue as he now sold the listing to me and it is now easier to ignore me. I contacted [URL Removed] and Safarinow, but was told that Tripadvisor must remove these links from my profile.
