I was on flight MN926 seat 2C yesterday. The overhead compartment was full so I had to place my hand luggage a one row back. when we landed I had to move back to get the bag and in the process I forgot my IPad in the seat pocket. I realised that I had forgotten my iPad before I went down the escalator and tried to go back to get it, I was stopped by airport security and told to go to the Kulula baggage desk. There I was told to wait so that they can phone the plane, without making any effort I was told that there is no iPad. I find this funny because all the passengers have not disembarked from the plane yet. I was not given a reference number and was advised to just claim from insurance??? I am very disgusted in the way this was handled. Is this general practice when someone leaves an item behind? Just say that nothing was found and there you go? My iPad was just turned on and located opposite the airport but immediately turned off again. Nothing was done to assist me, in fact the people at baggage claims could not look happier that I left the device behind. I think this is shocking Kulula.
