Phone left on plane and no help offered by staff

I flew in from Cpt on the last flight to Jhb & after feeling very ill with flu, departed from the plane and went to my car to leave the airport. After realising that my brand new iPhone 5 had fallen below the seat where I was sitting, I rushed back to the Kulula counter & was told by the staff rep there that all cleaners, engineers etc were off the plane and that no-one would go onto the plane to have a look. After pleading with the staff I was told to leave and come back the next morning at 5am so that the staff could have a look and let me know if the phone was retrieved. The next morning I was at the Kulula counter promptly at 5 am and spoke to a woman named Liezel who radio'd some1 to look on the plane, the person on the other side stated that there was no handset found and nothing that they could do. Liezel then advised that I call the cleaning office at 8am which is what I did and was simply told that nobody has reported any phone and that there was nothing else that could be done.
The missing phone was a brand new iPhone 5 and I just feel that Kulula's staff could've done more to prove to me that the phone was not aboard the plane. They made no effort to assist me at all.
