I made a booking through Quality Vacation Club for accomodation at the Uvongo River Resort. I did tell the person doing the booking that we may be 9 people. She only had 8 sleepers available, and so I told her book the 8 sleeper and we will make a plan with the sleeping arrangements as we were mainly children. We arrived at the Resort @ 6:00 pm and were told that they will accept out booking as we were 9 people. Even though we were only 4 adults and 5 children, one of whom was only 2.50 years old. We said we would pay for an additional room and the additional person and they refused to accomodate us even though they had 2 rooms available which they took out of availablilty maintenance reasons. They made us wait outside on a cold winters night with small children for 2.50 hours whilst QVC looked for alternative accomodation. QVC did not come up with an alternative, and we had to book 2 adults elsewhere, and leave 2 with the kids. This meant that kids were seperated from their parents. And of course the 2 people that were booked elsewhere were not allowed to stay past 10:00 p.m. This whole experience has left me disgusted and disappointed.
