I was so excited to hear about the R199 DBN to JHB special. I phoned the call centre - tried about 4 different numbers and eventually got through. Our internet at work was down. The ad said you can only get the deal by calling the Call Centre - yet, when our internet was up & running, you could even book the R199 flight online. The call centre agent to me and told me you have to book a return flight in order to qualify for the R199. Furthermore, apparently he could only give me a R199 flight on the 28/06 at 08h25. When I went onto the net, the later flight was available at the same price. The cheapest return flight according to him between 05/07 - 07/07 was on the 06/07 for over R800. Yet when I went on the net, the same flight was in the R600's. I am flabbergasted to learn that a MANGO call centre agent is unable to see the prices on the MANGO website and inflate their prices. It's not as if I went through a travel agency! To amend my return flight to the 07/07, is costing almost R700 for 2 passengers! what a rip off. I need answers re the discrepancies & also why I should pay R700 to have my flight moved due to the incorrect info received.
