Metrorail lying about their increases

Metrorail announced via the media recently that they will increase their monthly ticket fares by between R7 and R45 as of June 2013. I bought a monthly this morning (metroplus Fish Hoek - Stellenbosch) and found that the ticket, in fact, cost R57 more (from R385 to R442). They are in fact lying to the public about their increases
