As newly weds we thought this would be a great investment. We joined flexi club in February 2013. After being incorrectly debited and no response or material for three months, we decided we wanted our membership cancelled. After trying to get hold of our "consultant" and four emails to the only apparent addresses (including an account and a client service address), I received no response. I decided this was adequate notice and the following month I cancelled the debit order at my bank. Today all of sudden I'm receiving loads of calls and threats with blacklisting etc. After asking a "consultant" how else I can cancel, I was told I can only cancel when account paid in full, thus forcing me to pay and extorting further money from me. I told them this is not good enough and further threats ensued from flexi club. Apparently we are not allowed to cancel... I wonder if this is in accordance with the National Consumer Act. What is one to do?
