My new iPhone 5, purchased on contract with MTN in February, is now no longer charging and Apple has confined that I have a 1 year warranty. However when I contact MTN they state that they can see I bought the phone on contract, and the details of the phone, but as I have lost the contract they can't help me. And this is company policy. I have been with MTN for over 10 years, and generally they have been good but this seems ludicrous as they have all the details of the IMEI number etc so can tell it is my phone. They even know it is me as I have to give them my PIN number over the phone.
I would appreciate it if someone from MTN could assist me overcome this insane company policy.
