I took my phone in for repairs to Cresta Vodcom Repairs and they shipped it to head office i advised the gentleman that my phone loses network when i am at home but once i leave home its able to get network and when i am at the office it works as well i am even able to connect via mobile Wi-Fi. they took it to the engineers and they advised that it was water/liquid damage. ok i asked but how come it works at other places but not at home nobody is able to explain that. i also escalated it to the escalations department they also came up with the same explanation liquid or water damage so when you phone had liquid damage is it able to determine were you can connect or not. my phone is insured with Vodacom as well they gave me a quote of R1888 it wont be repaired so they say i need to pay an access of R900 in order for me to get a new phone so i dont understand am i paying for it to be opened and checked? not being repaired and having an outcome of liquid/water damage as the answer and nobody being able to explain my problem with my phone?
