I signed up for a two year contract comprising of a 100mb data bundle and 120 Free Minutes for R329 a month. I was told by the sales person that that would be my total cost and there are NO HIDDEN COSTS. I understand that the once-off connection fee was added to the initial bill for the first month, though, four months later, I'm still being charged over R400. I had a look at my statement and sms'd "bal to 14302" and still have 52 free minutes and over a hundred mb's of data and my current usage is "ZERO" yet my bill shows R416. I phoned cell c countless times and was told that I'm being charged that much because its an open line. How is that possible when I haven't even depleted my free minutes or data bundle? Cell c service is extremely terrible.
