On Saturday 20/4/13 i downloaded the dstv app from v-live. Paid the subscription of R59 for the month. The first day it worked. From sunday i have had a server error. Contacted Vodacom help line on Wednesday where-by we went through all my settings and found that my phone was not at fault. Samantha logged a service call where-by a technician should have contacted me. Thursday morning i received a sms stating that it is my phone that is at faul and should take it into Vodacare. I do not have a Vodacare in Nelspruit. I contacted the help line this morning whereby the first person told me its not there fault but with dstv. i do not see it as such as the app was purchased from v-live and not dstv. He then said he would put me through to the service department. After being bumped through three different departments i then asked them to contact me and until now no attempt has been made by Vodacom.
This is absolutely pathetic from such a huge company and i feel that something like this should be easy to rectify for such a large conglomerate. Maybe i'm just to low for them on the scale to "care". For people that should be technically more advanced than us normal folk.
