Somebody please get Dorothy some manners

I logged a call for an insurance claim with Vodacom Insurance on Monday, 22 April 2013 and I called the 0831952 at 16h20 today to follow up on the claim. I was told that my claim for the I-phone was approved. When I went on to enquire about the I-pad, the lady by the name of Dorothy told me I was not insured. Despite me asking politely for her to check through the EMEI number which was submitted through to her, she insisted without checking that I was not insured. In between all of this, the lady hung up on me three times and I had to call back.

I had to drive to the mall to get the Vodacom cell number for the tablet and to confirm though Vodacom 4U shop that I am insured. Even at this stage she denied at first but later admitted that the tablet insured. Unfortunately the said lady hung up before she could tell me what will happen and when we tried calling immediately afterwards, no one picked up the phone.

The tone of voice used by the lady was disrespectful, inconsiderate and inhumane. If this is the first impression that Vodacom Insurance wants its clients to have at a depressing time of asset loss, I think its best that one considers other insurance options.
