After taking my Bold 9900 in many time to Vodacom I was advised by Vodasure that they were not supposed to give me a refurbished phone and to give me a new phone.
I went the Vodacom, Sandton and advised them and they got me to fill in a Claim form which has been approved.
Now the problem is I am under insured and if I wanted to get another Bold 9900 I would have to pay the excess of R500 which I have no issue with. But I have to pay an additional R750 because I'm under insured...
I asked the lady at the call centre why this has happened and she advises the branches that do the upgrades don't always provide the client with adequate insurance. Issue is I didn't go through a branch but Vodacom directly.
Why did they not advise me of additional insurance in the event of a claim like this???
So now I will have to get some cheapie until I upgrade next year and in the mean while I still pay the Bold off...
Highly disappointed after being a client for so many years!!
