My internet went down on 12th March - I telephoned faults at Telkom and they advised me that their server at the Constantia exchange was down. The service was on and off for the next few days and then OFF again. I rang again and they restored service for about one hour and then DOWN again. This went on for over a fortnight. Eventually on 28th March full service was restored. I rang the accounts department on 29th March and they advised that a credit for the 17 days would be shown on my next bill. I paid the bill in full on 3rd April. My next bill dated 11th Aprilarrived but had no CREDIT. I phoned again and they said a credit would be done. I then complained again 10 days ago by email to the account query escalation email - AGAIN NO RESONSE. I have again today sent another email through Telkom website to escalate my query. IF I DO NOT RECEIVE A REPLY BY 3RD MAY I WILL DEDUCT THE 17 DAYS OF INTERNET AND THE INTEREST OF R7 WHICH THEY INCORRECTLY CHARGED ME FROM THEIR TOTAL BILL. WHY DOESN'T SOMEBODY SORT OUT THIS MESS RIGHT NOW.
