I was mugged yesterday and called the call center to report the phone, I was assisted by Brent who was very helpful and polite. I went to the police station and they were also very helpful.
Today I went to the store to find out if my cellphone was insured as we pay inurance on the family top up. Brent had adviced that there is insurance but possibly not on my line. Iman Abbass who assisted me at Golden Acre was extremely rude and aggressive. After I explained what I had been told she asked me if I understood how insurance works, and that only the line on the insurance would be covered not the rest of the package.
I asked if we could call my family member who owns the contract with Vodacom to verify the coversation she had with Brent as she too was investigating the matter, I was told that they would not call her and that their system is always right so there is nothing we can do.
She was aggressive, argumentative and rude as if I am lying about my experience. Vodacom ought to understand that we are customers and irrespective of the location of the store there is a way to treat customers.
