In the centre of Paarl, between Alexander and Fabriek streets and between Reyneke and Lady Grey streets, the signal strengh is extremely poor. 99.9% of the time I am only able to get EDGE, unless I'm in the open or lucky I guess.
The coverage map of Cell C shows this area to be covered by 3G and HSDPA, but I was told by the Cell C walk-in centre in Tygervalley that this map is not correct and there are areas with issues.
I would like to stay with Cell C, but I need a full speed mobile broadband signal, EDGE is not a feasible solution.
