Intermittend Connection Problems

I upgraded to Cell C last year with the hope that the new Whoosh era has finally arrived. This joy of this was shortlived after starting to receive connection problems on both my cellphone and data device. Both uses a different sim card.

The connection will just flatline even though it has full signal. When I try browse the internet it gives a DNS error but I am able to browse to IP address. Called the call centre who advised that Western Cape and Gauteng all have the same issue.

Called into the contact centre again after having a full HSDPA/3G signal with no response and no internet. Once I go roaming on and select Vodacom as my preferred network then I am able to get a connection to the internet.

Called into the contact centre again after having a full HSDPA/3G signal with no response and no internet. Once I set the speed to EDGE/GPRS then am I able to get a connection to the internet.

Called into the contact centre again after having a full 3G signal not being able to make calls, only once I put my phone on roaming/EDGE can I dial out.

Ive now gotten fed up with this and would like to request from Cell C to cancel both my contracts you may take your devices back.
