I took my damaged handset which was insured to smith street branch in november last year and was told i would receive communication within 6 weeks. nothing was forthcoming until february when i went to smith street as i did not receive any communication. was told the spares for my handset were not available told to wait for 2 weeks. after a month i decided to call the insurance callcentre and was told they did not have spares. i told them i could not wait forever and they made me fill a claim form and was told they would contact me. i did not receive any communication from them. i called them on a daily basis to be told the replacement phone was not on stock. i made further calls and on the 22 march i was told the phone would be delivered in 5days. waited no correspondence until on 11 april when i was given further options to choose from. was told the phone would be delivered within 5 to 7 days. today i phoned i was told they have a problem with their courier service.what is the point of taking insurance if i have to be without a phone for 5 months and they never advise of progress, their lines ever engaged and if you are lucky to get through you are told stories. very bad service
