I went into a Vodacom store in centurion mall to get a notebook contract on special going for R299 per month for 24months. I receive 100MB of data monthly on this contract but now to my surprise I received a statement from Vodacom that states that I used above 2GB in less than a 3days and I owe them more than R3100.
I asked the sales person who sold me this deal if I will not get more than 100mb monthly and she confirmed it. Before I could put my signature on the contract my boyfriend asked the sales lady the same question and in response to this she said I should sign next to the R299 monthly charge. I signed and received my copy as proof. But Vodacom never kept their word. I went to the store to speak to the store about this and she was not in on that day. I logged a query telephonically regarding this and every operator I speak to on the phone says they will investigate this matter and come back to me in 48hrs. but now its been more than two weeks I have been waiting for feedback. When I do a follow up on the case I am told that the matter is still pending. I know that Vodacom is doing this just to buy time and deduct the money out of my account end of the month
