MTN is incompetent

Renewed my contract at MTN Cape Gate. When we got the phone it was faulty. Returned it to the store and was told to wait 3 days and he would be in contact with us. After 17 days we are still waiting for feedback from Juriaan who said that they need to hear from head office. My daughter has to travel without a cellphone and it is very dangerous.
