Why Telkom is helping to KILL our economy!
I use Telkom as my ADSL line provider(don't really have a choice) as well as using them as my ISP. I logged a fault on the 22nd of March 2013, for my ADSL line being down. I received an SMS two days later that the line had been fixed. I was out of town on business for 2 weeks so was unable to check if it was actually so. Upon my return I had to log a new fault because the line was still down. Same story, I received an SMS two days later stating the fault had been repaired. I have subsequently had to log another 3 faults, each time with the same result. It has been "escalated" to high heaven but still no luck. Now I don't even get updates anymore, they are just ignoring me but I am sure that come debit order time, thy will not hesitate to take my money. Neotel is not an option yet in my area and 3G data is still priced like it's gold. Surely we should be a leader in telecoms on this continent, not be stuck with the incompetent trash that Telkom passes off as a service.
