Shocking miscommunication

I called Telkom in the beginning of March to enquire about their ADSL options. After being informed that there is an ADSL line available for my address I signed up for one of their internet deals.

They promised to have the line activated and then have a technician come to my house to deliver the modem and activate the line. When nothing happened and i followed-up I was informed that in actual fact no line is available as Telkom still needs to BUILD infrastructure and it falls outside of this financial year. It is the most useless service I have ever received.

After being so pathetic not only in their communication, but also in their delivery, I expect to be moved to the top of the list should an ADSL line become available in my area. As this was what was promised.

This is the second time I'm posting a complaint on Hellopeter as they did not even reply on the first complaint. Which is of course an indication of their useless communication.
