I have 3 different vodacom contracts of which 1 expired Oct 2012. I requested that it be converted to prepaid on 1 Feb 2013 after which i was sent a migration quotation which i signed and sent back. In march i noticed that i was charged again so i phoned Vodacom and complained that the contract that was cancelled the previous month. The lady said that the cancellation never went through and that she would rectify the problem at the end of the March. I told her that i haven't used the phone number since the beginning of Feb and that i wanted a refund. Yesterday I received my new account for April and the problem still hasn't been fixed and i'm still being billed for that account. How many phone calls and forms and complaints does it take to cancel one simple phone account? I'm seriously considering closing all my accounts with Vodacom and going over to a different service provider. I've been a loyal client for more than 10 years and the service is going to! when i upgraded my Blackberry to Apple i had to wait 3 months for them to cancel my BIS and when i complained about bad reception at my home they activated LTE to rectify the problem (LTE is for internet not phone calls).
