Unbareable Connection

A small section of cable has been in our area (roughly 60 meters of cable serving 20 lines) resulting in our whole road not having any phone service or ADSL.

I use ADSL to work from home and have not been able to work for the past 2 weeks. Some of the neighbors have been temporarily been reconnected (they probably don't even have ADSL and have Wya Wya services) but I haven't been one of the lucky 6 or so to be granted the temp connection.

I have been told that Telkom is considering replacing the cable and that I might not be able to get ADSL again. I have to look at the wireless products instead.

Firstly, wireless products won't work for me as i need uncapped or atleast 150GB and fast pings.

Yesterday I got me a Telkom Mobile 3G dongle and some data in the meanwhile to get some work done. The main reason I need ADSL back up is because the 3G signal is very bad in our area. With my 3G dongle I can barely get 30kbps download speeds.

WE NEED ADSL IN OUR AREA - WE ARE UNABLE TO MAKE USE OF WIRELESS SERVICES IN OUR AREA.
