I have registered 2 complaints about the lack of 3G service and lack of all service at my house
I upgraded to Iphone 5, according to them i had to change settings so it would not search for 3G but edge, or 2G, then that night at 2am i get a sms from Vodacom telling me my free LTE has been activated.
I still drop calls continually and being billed per minute means that i have to make 3 phone calls to continue with the original call, who pays for this? Nice profit!
They also sold me a 3G card for my ipad and they know for a fact that according to coverage map (discovered later) that in any built up suburb of Sunward park there is no 3G coverage, yet the farm land and open areas between suburb has got 3g, this is really false advertising, selling a service you know you cannot provide.
Response from Vodacom: We are working on it.
We run 3 businesses from home and cannot afford to have dropped calls, the signal never reaches 2 bars on the phone, then you try send an sms or make a phone call and comes up with no signal.
I have been a loyal customer of Vodacom for the past 18 years and do not accept this kind of service from them.
How come some people can get boosters installed in their home?
