False Advertising of the Sony Xperia Go

Purchased a Sony Go from Vodacom campus square, hereafter VCS on 30/03/2013.Under false advertising, water resistant. On the 01/04/2013 water was spilt over it. Assured myself of the feat. and a few hours later the screen acted up, and then ceased. On the 02/04, I went back to VCS, they said they couldn't do anything. I proceeded to sony at vodaworld, hereafter SVW where I got the exact same response from them. Told me hand it to vodacare. I recorded the convo with the SVW representative. I was informed by a friend of the Out Of Box Failure warranty that I have as a consumer and the fact that I was not informed by each party, who were also meant to book my phone O.B.R rather than repairs. Job no. 8737725.There has been no reply by Sony, case number C-0001369843.I returned to VCS where I confronted the manager about the O.B.F, who stated, it was out of their area. Although I purchased it there, their repairs are sent to Sandton. It's just disgusting he's quick to clean his hands and I thought Vodacom had better ethics. First phone I owned from sony was a T20e, then a W810, also suffered water damage. I still have the mbs100 speaker. I'm appalled at the response Sony has to customer loyalty.
