Just last month, I posted a complaint about Vodacom taking forever to contact me about an upgrade to the new BB Z10 contract. That was resolved swiftly and I regained my faith in Vodacom. NOW, the phone that was delivered to me, seems to be defective. AT time, it does not ring. If I try calling it, it goes straight to voicemail.
Long story short, I called Customer Service, I was advised that I could cancel the contract with the Cancellations department. She puts me through, I wait for 15 odd minutes, (Listening to Gangnam Style) then get through to a consultant who advised me that she cannot help as it after the 7 day return period. She then questions why I did not report it in 7 days? IF THERE WAS AN ISSUE IN THE FIRST 7 DAYS, I WOULD HAVE REPORTED IT!!! (Contract is less the a month old)
I even advised her that I would replace this with a new contract for a different phone, but she would hear none of it.
Just to clear something, my contract is with Vodacom, not Blackberry. If Vodacom supplies me a defective BB device, it shouldnt be my issue. You guys need to sort out your internal issues.
Will somebody please contact me urgently!
