I met people who were doing promotions for the three month telkom internet trial at the Gugulethu Mall. I never used the service as i had logging problems which i had escalated to them and they were never of help until i cancelled the service. I even went to their branch in Kenilworth to express my side of the story and was told that i owe Telkom R975.00 which comes as a suprise to me. Early this year i started getting nasty sms from lawyers claiming to be doing collections for them and threatening to list me if i fail to pay immediately.
The last message i received read as follows: 10 DAYS NOTICE: YOU ARE IN BREACH OF CONTRACT WITH TELKOM, SUMMONS MAY BE SERVED TO RECOUP: R795.00 TEL-0861683328 QUOTE REF: ND16277967.
