R6505 data usage in 7 days???

Since last Tuesday my data usage was 18.8GB in 6 days, R5719!! I have uncapped ADSL so I only use the USB modem in an emergency. If not in use it sits, unplugged, on my desk. My daughter had to use it last week for school and the school say that in a month she wouldn't use more than 1.1GB. In a whole month! I can't prove what happened last week but I know for a fact that without a doubt the USB modem with sim card has been in front of me since Monday morning. Since my phone call to them on Monday night when I got the above information the account has increased by another R800!! I asked them to block the account while it was being investigated and I was told that they have to set a limit and if it goes over that limit I am still liable for payment. Excuse me where is the point in doing anything then? And if I don't accept the ridiculous terms & conditions then they can't block it!! They tried to say that it is possible that it's the computer doing updates & downloads in the background but if the USB modem is not plugged in how is that possible? And if the computer is unplugged also? What do the pixies come in at night and plug in back in while you"re sleeping? What utter nonsense
