R500 Extra on monthly data bill

In the 20 months I have been with 8ta I managed to use up all my data monthly 10gig 10 gig night surfer. And I always get capped & not able to use internet. So for the month of Feb they said I went 500mb over my data limit.. How is this at all possible, whereas previous months my data stopped? & you charge me R1 a mb without my concent??? Phoned support & they could not tell me what is going on, asked to speak to manager & one week later still no response.
