I phoned and cancelled my contract with virgin mobile effective 14 May 2013, so basically a month in advance I called. My number was ported to MTN and I assumed that the last debit order for Virgin would go off my account at the end of May as that is how it usually works. It went off my account and I assumed it everything was fine. We are now in October and my account has been debited with the amount for my contract 3 times at the end of July, August and October. I phoned in August after my account had been debited and was promised that the money would be refunded within 10 working days. The days came and went and when I phoned again, they had credited my account? The one I do not have with them anymore. I wrote a report on Hellopeter and was contacted and promised my money would be paid back. They then proceeded to only pay back one month's installment. I then woke up this morning to another debit order for the contract after I was ensured that the account was stopped. Virgin Mobile, pay back my money and remove me from your history as this is.
