I phoned Cellc in December 2012 as i got an sms saying what the repairs will cost excluding VAT and to phone the call center.
i spoke to Shanel, she informed me that as i i bought my blackberry on 2 November 2011 and i gave my phone in for repairs on 10 December2012, this is over a year and thus the repair charges and due by me. even though the damage to my phone was not caused by my own fault, as the mouse pad was not working anymore, the repairs i need to pay for as its over a year.
i gave my permission to fix my phone as they said if i wont, then i will get my phone back broken
i just want to raise awarness to the public and i will spread this through word of mouth what has happened and my utter disguise that i need to pay for damages to my phone not implicated by me
The response
"We sorry for the inconvenience caused but as per Terms and conditions, it clearly states that the handset only carries a 1 year warranty. Repairs done after this period has elapsed, will be at ones own cost.

WHERE EXACTLY DOES IT STATE IN THE T & T THAT I AM LIABLE TO PAY FOR REPAIRS DUE TO FAULT NOT CAUSED BY ME? I HAVE A 24 MONTH CONTRACT AND EXPECT TO BE COVERED ENTIRELY, FAULT IS NOT WID ME
