Intermittent internet connection

Ive been using Telkom for quite a while now as an ISP, this problem reared its head late last year, where my PING was so high that I cannot play ANY games (this is the sole reason I have the internet connection). Besides really bad service on this matter, and it taking about a month, they finally fixed the problem somehow. things were going fine for another couple of months, and BAM, problem pops up again, except this time, its WORSE. My ping would run between 350 to 800ms (to a LOCAL server!!!), my download speed will be about 0.37mbps, where I am paying for a 2.0mbps line!!! After logging 3 fault calls with Telkom, and them phoning me and 're-setting' my line, problem still persists. The biggest issue I have is the fact that Telkom does not have any eagerness to help you, every time the people phoned me for the fault, I have to explain the whole story over, and get the same response of 'restart your router and we will reset your connection, blah blah blah. I have not gotten a call back from them, I have to log a brand new call, and as I said, this does nothing. I am paying for this and not getting ANY satisfaction and its so frustrating!!! PLEASE HELP!!
