After having an ADSL line installed nearly 2 weeks ago, my partner and I found that our router was not syncing. After calling support, and after 5 re-tellings, we were informed that our ADSL line was now a prepaid phone line belonging to someone else. No Explanation was given as to why, or how it happened. We were simply told it was not support's problem. They refuse to rectify the issue, and we are now paying for something we are not receiving. I sincerely hope "Mrs Pearson" enjoys her new phone line. Telkom's support staff were indifferent, bordering on rude. And the fact that our line/number was just hijacked by some idiotic technician is ridiculous. Upon asking about cancelling our account, we were told to call back when they are "not busy". Seriously? How can you be busy, when you keep kicking business out the door?
