I have been battling with my ADSL for almost a month, I logged a line issue with telkom, I told Bongani that I was getting a noise on my line that is over 51db, now that is terrible.
I have logged multiple calls and I keep getting a reference number and a day later I get an SMS saying that the line fault has been resolved, I test and it hasnt then I reply No to the SMS saying that its not resolved (As instructed on the SMS) and the call remains closed.
I installed there app on my smart phone to keep track of this and I keep on having to relog the call.
I even phone in again an told the lady that the technician must call me before he closes the call.
I am an IT Professional, and them dropping my line speed an calling it a "solution" is BULL, they even updated my router without my permission and removed all of my settings that took me ages to setup.
I went directly with telkom, I got a telkom ISP account but I use a openweb account as well, I have even kept the Telkom supplied ADSL router so if I do run into issues and its hardware related that telkom changes.
Starting to think I need to change solutions, this is affecting my work. Best Effort in Telkom means No Effort
