I am writing with utter frustration with MWEB ADSL support. Every night my business ADSL disconnects and does not reconnect until we manually reboot the router. The MWEB support center first told my support staff that this is a problem with Telkom lines. We had Telkom out to assess the situation on site and they confirmed that their infrastructure is working optimal. We have a Telkom node (mini Telkom substation) on site which hosts numerous line services including other ADSL lines. So there is no way the problem can be Telkom. We moved the MWEB router to a different line where we do not experience this problem on and we are still getting disconnected. The last feedback we got from their support is that "this is NORMAL for ADSL to frequently disconnect" - fair enough but it should then automatically reconnect like any other ADSL service!
