I've had the MTN Uncapped Lite 3G contract for a while now (supplied through Nashua Mobile).
A) The signal is pathetic where I stay, despite MTN data support claiming the towers are operating normally
B) I need to have the modem right in the middle of my kitchen counter (in the way of everything) just to get some kind of 3G signal. Now I can barely get better than Edge anywhere in the house.
C) It is now the 4th of the month and despite rebooting the modem every few hours the max speed I get is 0.26Mbps. Thats barely usable!
D) The device is supposed to be capable of 21Mbps but the best speed I've had (yes I understand network load etc) is a shade over 3Mbps - and that's not very often
Seeing as I need to enter into a contract for this service - for which I always pay on time, I expect the other party to deliver their half of the contract too. I don't mind being throttled after 3GB of use but then I expect those 3GB to be pain free.
I would like:
1) For someone from MTN to visit my premises and confirm that the signal is total rubbish
2) Install an external antenna so that I can receive proper signal
I don't think I'm being unreasonable, I just want what is fair.
