After initially starting of at fair speeds (3Mbps upload/ 1.8Mbps down), the speed of my data dropped off to simply ridiculous levels. (0, 3Mbps up/ 0, 12Mbps down)
This happened over the last six months and is constant, day and night.
The 3g is used in a router at home and not for traveling.
I have tried omni-directional and directional external antennas, I did a sim swap, bought a new modem and router.
All to no avail.
At the same time my smartphone, on a Vodacom contract, gets speeds in excess of 3, 5Mbps up and 2Mbps down.
I have a 10gig/month uncapped data contract with MTN that I cannot use.
