I claimed with MTNSP insurance as I had dropped my phone - great service - they delivered a loan phone and reported back that I can collect a new phone and gave me 4 different stores.
It has taken 3 months to get a new phone - every time its a different excuse. I would call to ask if they have the phone in stock and they would say yes. when I arrive they say they have no stock - that happened 4 times. Every time I call no-one answers the phone. When I went in and asked what was wrong with their phones they said "nothing - we just don't answer them when we have customers in the store". I called them 14 times yesterday. I had many similar experiences at the Fourways mall branch.
Today I eventually got my new IPhone (having taken 1.5 hrs in the store) and when I got home to use my new phone the sim card did not fit. I called IPhone (as there is no point calling MTN) and they said I need a nano sim and that MTN should have provided me with one! They didn't even bother to tell me. Now I have to go back to that hole.
Every time I go into any of the stores there is always a long queue with customers complaining. I have wasted around 15 hrs collectively due to your bad service!
