Vodacom needs to catch up with the times!!

Went today to sign a new Vodacom contract at Hi-Fi Corp and spent 2 hours in the store. Credit vetting etc. was successful and then came the shocker, they want bank stamped original bank statements for the past 3 months. What happened to saving the environment and the fact that everything nowadays is electronic (even SARS is more up to date with technology and the times). I do not receive paper format bank statements anymore and if Vodacom thinks I am going to stand in a queue at the bank to get them they have got another thing coming. WAKE UP VODACOM - everybody accepts electronic format documents except you... (my MTN application took 20 minutes and my CellC one took 15 minutes with electronic documents). Needless to say Vodacom is not the only cellphone service provider and I will be taking my valued custom elsewhere.. (Funny though how Nigerians can get a contract on your name and walk out of the store without any of this documentation???).
