Ludicrous Fees for Historic Account-Statements

I recently changed from receiving paper-based bank-statements to electronic (saving everyone money and trees). I needed a copy of my Jul-2012 bank statements (because I lost my paper-copy). To speed things up I obviously asked for an electronic copy (PDF format) and their response - sure no problem but it costs R20 per page.

1. I don't need to use your printers, paper, ink-catridges, etc
2. paper-copies of my account-statements average between 4 - 5 pages in length NOT 13 in pdf format
3. 75% of the PDF template is used to display logos, my address, Std's contact info, with only 25% showing my actual account-transactions.

This PDF template is pathetic. Whoever designed it did so to extort money from Standard Bank clients!
R20 per page for electronic copies violates all logic. I don't mind paying R20 for the query and 60c for the email (which you currently charge, which IS another disgusting abuse of bank-fees on its own) but I do mind feeling violated. You are stuck in the middle-ages if you think you're going to retain clients by not adapting your service-offerings. I have had all my accounts with you since the age of 11. I could care less and I've found a reason to leave
