8ta does it again

I've recently taken out a new contract from a very persuasive call centre agent calling from Cell Direct. I received my phone and activated as normal in the 1st week of March, it worked fine for 2 weeks and thereafter I lost complete signal. When I called 8ta they have advised that the contract was disconnected. I was then transferred between departments for 2 days before I had the phone re-activated. The reason for the phone being disconnected was due to the account holder requesting this which did not ghappen. 8ta had no records of when this was and advised that I call the Call Centre which sold me the product. That is outrageous. I manage a department which is Customer Service related for a UK Telecoms company and I have never seen such poor customer experience. My phhone is now reactivated and I am shocked to see that I receive a bill with approx R1000 in charges which were not advised to me. Included in this is an early terminataion charge - how can this be charged if the phone is still active. I contacted 8ta and they have advised that they cannot pick the number up under my name. I requested to speak to a manager and was advised 1 will be in contact in 30 mins still not
